ABOUT US

From humble beginnings come great things and such is the story of Let Them Eat Cake.

What is now your cozy cakeshop in a neighborhood in Saar started off as a home business in 2006 in Dubai to help pay the mortgage. With a newly bought house and a two-year-old son, starting a home business for decorated cakes seemed like the obvious choice to make for London graduate and professional Pastry Chef Nadia Zucchelli, founder of Let Them Eat Cake.

With her professional qualifications and experience working in 5-Star hotels in Germany and Austria, Chef Nadia started making decorated cakes for her home business. Let Them Eat Cake then came to Bahrain in 2008 and remained a home business until the opening of the first shop in November 2018.

While being in Bahrain for the past 11 years, Chef Nadia has collected a wealth of experience, made fantastic friends and met her current team at  Let Them Eat Cake. She is a great believer in teamwork and maintains an atmosphere of inspiration and creativity with her team in the shop. She is truly grateful for her passionate and hardworking team, and together they are on a mission to serve Bahrain the loveliest and tastiest cakes!
